The Cottage Hotel is renowned for its excellent cuisine.
We offer a traditional English Breakfast, comprehensive Table d'Hôte Dinner and a supplementary menu (seasonal). We use the finest fresh, local produce wherever possible and we offer a range of vegetarian dishes.
Our specialities include locally caught crab, lobster dishes and tantalising delicacies created by our own pastry chef
Our evening dinners are open to non-residents and, though we can usually fit you in if you arrive on the night, it is always better to book in advance. The prices are:
Our three-course Sunday lunches are extremely popular in the area with many locals returning regularly, some even every week. Sunday Luncheon is served from 12.30 to 1.30pm (last orders). The cost is £29.50 per person (children, half price) inclusive of VAT. The lunch consists of:
We also serve a limited bar lunch menu on a Sunday. This consists of soup, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and chips. The menu is available from 12.00–2.00pm (last orders).
We serve lunch every Sunday apart from when we are closed in January. We do recommend making a reservation as we can get very busy at times. If you would like to make a reservation please do not hesitate to contact us.
